Cheapo Calendars vs Quality Ones? When you decide to give out calendars to your prospective customers and clients (or your past customers and clients for that matter), the first thing you need to think about is whether or not to give them cheapo flimsy calendars or nicer expensive ones. The first gut reaction of most managers is to keep costs down (hey, we all feel that way!!) but that might not be the most productive or efficient solution. Your calendar is a reflection of your company. You don't want to come across like some cheapskate, do you? You don't want something that will fall apart in a couple of months either!

On the other hand: you can very quickly get carried away and spend way too much money on these things. If you buy in bulk, which I assume you will (I highly recommend you do so as to get the best deal possible at the lowest prices) then you can mitigate some of the costs. But even still, its easy to overspend and you don't want to do that! Overspending can be almost as bad as buying cheapo calendars! Why's that? Because let's say you spend twenty thousand dollars on these things. That's a LOT of business they have to produce to justify that cost. Are they going to produce twenty thousand dollars in new business during the course of the next year? Maybe, but probably not.
