Erasable Wall Calendar

An erasable wall calendar is incredibly handy. I can't imagine an office running efficiently without one. Regular calendars are nice enough, but they fill up easily and things don't always stay the way you schedule them to stay. Often times meetings change, appointments change, everything changes! Unless you wrote them down in pencil (and really, who uses PENCILS anymore!) you'll find yourself scribbling out, scratching out, and generally making an unreadable mess of your calendar. And that's why erasable wall calendars are so great. You can erase anything you want, there's no mess, and you always know when your important meetings and appointments are.

Erasable Wall Calendar Brands: There are many many different brands of erasable wall calendars. Nearly every office supply store like office max, office depot, or staples will probably have their own generic house brand. Sometimes these are quite acceptable, other times they may not be. Then there's your regular calendar brands such as at-a-glance and dayminder and these guys have their own erasable calendars. But these all generally refer to the cheaper versions. If you want a little fancier one, with lots more bells and whistles, then you're looking at brands like Infuse, Quartet. Business Division, House of Doolittle, and Blue Sky (just to name a few).

What can you expect to pay: This depends largely on how big a calendar you want and how fancy you want to get. A basic erasable wall calendar from your generic office supply store brand is going to cost you anywhere from fifteen to twenty five dollars. These are smaller designs without any of the bells and whistles of more expensive versions. Your At-A-Glance and DayMinder type versions will generally fall within that price range as well, and also climb a bit higher. We're talking about a twenty to thirty five dollar range. You'll get a little bit higher quality for this price, but we're still looking at a pretty generic calendar here. After that prices really skyrocket. The next price range is usually the forty to one hundred dollar price range. These are larger boards and are much higher quality.

The brands that live in this price range are more of your Infuse and your Quartet type brands. For the higher price you usually get a lot more bells and whistles. Some may be outlined in cork board to allow you to pin notes to it. Others might be magnetic to allow you to use magnets as reminders. These more expensive calendars are almost more like presentation boards, and you get what you pay for. The more expensive the board, usually, the more easy it is to use as well. They can be easier to erase, and they don't smear as much. After this price range you can expect to pay more as a function of size. The larger the erasable wall calendar you need, the more expensive it's going to be. This is due in large part to the material needed to produce the thing. If it takes more white board, it's just going to be more expensive and there's not a whole lot you can do unless you buy from a second hand store that sells office equipment from companies that have gone out of business.
